Funerals
If I haven't been in contact with you while you were alive, why would I want to see you when you're gone!?
I know it sounds heartless, but it's the truth.
Well, the family would say, you should show up out of respect. I think I am being respectful by being real about it.
If we had a meaningful relationship while you were alive, then that's all that should matter, not saying goodbye to a body or trying look like I cared in front of others!
Sometimes, I don't know what I feel, because I never really known the deceased, even if they're family.
I feel it's hypocritical to show up at someone's funeral claiming how much you cared when you never really got to know the departed.
I don't want a funeral. I would hate to be laying there and hearing things said with no knowledge of who I was!
